The bill on amendments to several laws of Ukraine re establishment of State Road Fund and approved by the government on November 13, this year and was presented during the meeting.
Committee members made proposals to the bill in the course of presentation.
Following the results of the visiting session, the Committee considered the issue on the state of legislative support to the development of transport infrastructure of Ternopil oblast.
Attention was attached to the issue of optimization of train movement.
Committee Chair Borys Kolesnikov noted that Ukrzaliznytsia annually suffers damages from passenger transportation. He noted that night transportations negatively affect Ukrainian economy that is why it is necessary to switch to the use of high-speed trains.
The issue of involving high-speed trains in the line of Kyiv-Lviv through Ternopil was discussed.
Committee members debated development prospects of aviation transportation and the issue of securing passenger transportation on the territory of Ternopil oblast.
Several bills were scrutinized during the meeting of the Committee.
Following the results of consideration, the decision was taken to recommend the Verkhovna Rada: adopt in the second reading and in entirety the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re reforming the system of public roadways management (Reg. No. 2536a-1); reject the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re refining functioning of automobile road network of Ukraine) (Reg. No. 2515a); recommit the draft law on amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine (re refining functioning of automobile road network of Ukraine) (Reg. No. 2514a).
